Dear PEHOA Member,

 

This is to remind you that the Special Assessment in the amount of $300.00 for maintaining Plantation Drive was passed on April 28, 2012, during the Annual Meeting.  Thirty-eight (38) affirmative votes were required for passage and thirty-nine (39) were cast.  No votes were cast opposing the measure.  The Board thanks all who made this possible and appreciate the commitment to making Plantation Estates a great place to live.  Additionally, Whip Wilson, a member of PEHOA, has added, "An overwhelming response to this Special Assessment is truly a model for continued success, assertiveness in our duty to bond together is quite applaudable.  Strength flows from our numbers as each so graciously shares the load."

 

The $300.00 assessment is required of all PEHOA members.  Members owning more than one lot shall pay $300.00 per lot.  The assessment is due by July 1, 2012, and may be paid up until July 31, 2012, without penalty.  Starting August 1, 2012, all late payments will incur a penalty of 1 ½ % interest per month until paid.  Invoices for the assessment will be going out by mail or e-mail, depending on how you are receiving notices concerning PEHOA matters.  Please mail the assessment payment to PEHOA, P.O. Box 2284, Swansboro, NC 28584.

 

Payment of the assessment will credit the annual PEHOA dues payment $100.00 for 2013 and 2014.  Annual dues will return to $200.00 per year in 2015. 

 

On a related matter, some members have expressed a desire to contribute more than the $300.00 required by the current assessment for the maintenance of Plantation Drive.  The Board welcomes this and thanks those choosing to do so.  If you are interested in donating additional monies, please complete the form on the next page and return it to via e-mail or mail to Alice Aurilio by July 1, 2012.  A meeting will be scheduled after this date to discuss particulars with those wishing to participate.

There is also an invoice for the $300.00 Special Assessment, but it can not be copied and posted on the blog because it was a scanned copy.  The $300.00 assessment is payable by July 1, 2012, and up until July 31, 2012, without penalty.  Any payment after that date is subject to a penalty of 1 1/2% interest until paid.
